A Brief Overview
part time – 20 hours per week, days
Infusion Center on Broad St, Elyria
Provides direct administrative and operational support to daily work of department leaders and staff.
What You Will Do
- Effective meeting scheduling and management including calendar and time management.
- Organization of meeting materials, agendas, minutes, and other materials.
- Assisting with telephone, correspondence, and other communications.
- Preparing documents, reports, and presentations as requested in a timely, professional, and accurate manner.
- Coordinates operational and special projects with internal and external customers
- Serves as a liaison to the department while providing administrative support for department initiatives to achieve department goals and increase efficiency
Additional Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
- High School Equivalent / GED (Required)
- Associate’s Degree or 2 years of college level education (Preferred)
Work Experience
- 3+ years administrative and/or department work experience (Required)

- Detail-oriented and organized, with good analytical and problem solving ability. (Required proficiency)
- Notable inward and outward facing service, communication and relationship building skills (Required proficiency)
- Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment (Required proficiency)
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. (Required proficiency)
- Able to work flexible hours as needed (Required proficiency)
- Must have excellent organization skills with attention to detail. (Required proficiency)
- Ability to coordinate work with minimal supervision on project specific tasks. (Required proficiency)

- Exhibits flexibility and ability to change priority as needed. (Required proficiency)
- Knowledge of medical terminology (Preferred proficiency)
- Demonstrated ability to use PCs, Microsoft Office suite, PowerPoint and general office equipment (Required proficiency)
- Oracle/SSI Markview experience (Preferred proficiency)
- Organizational management of multiple calendars and scheduling. (Required proficiency)
- Demonstrated ability to use GPS system at level of Learning Administrator (Required proficiency)
