Job Description & Qualifications
- Check in all products ordered
- Monitor warehouse area for security, cleanliness, and appropriate temperature
- Maintain appropriate ordering and invoicing documentation
- Use of Appropriate communications regarding departmental restocking
- Positively identify any meds stocked in the Omnicell machines visually and via bar code
- Document expiration information and maintain appropriate use of expiration reports in rotating stock
Additional Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
- High School Equivalent / GED (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Understanding math concepts and good reading skills (Required proficiency)
- Established attendance and performance of motivation, timeliness, dependability, and punctuality in the workplace. (Required proficiency)
